Collection: Tiwaz – Rune of justice, truth, and moral courage
Tiwaz takes its name from the god Týr, the god of justice, valor, and the promise of honor kept even at the cost of one's own life. Its shape is a vertical spear: it is not a weapon of offense, but a symbol of direction, truth, and integrity. It is the rune of those who face internal or external conflict with discipline, loyalty, and moral clarity.
It is the rune of the right choice, even when it is difficult. Where other runes protect, Tiwaz exposes; where others withdraw, Tiwaz confronts. It is the pure heart of the spiritual warrior, the firm center amidst chaos, the unshakable principle on which to build one's path.
Accompanying her is the Tiger's Eye, a stone of moral strength, active protection, and clarity in difficult choices. The Tiger's Eye strengthens the will, stabilizes energy during internal battles, and helps one not to falter in the face of fear or injustice. Together with Tiwaz, it becomes the armor of the conscience, the symbol of lived honor.
To activate Tiwaz, draw the rune on red paper or wood. Light a red or gold candle, symbolizing the fire of the heart. Hold the Tiger's Eye in your hands or on your forehead. The ritual sound is clear, vertical, like a resounding blow:
“Tiiii-waaaaz!”
concentrating the sound in a single point, like an arrow shot towards its goal.
During meditation, Tiwaz manifests as a spear planted in the ground, or as a fixed star in the sky, a steady guide among a thousand directions. It brings visions of choices to be made, challenges to be faced, and demonstrates the true meaning of inner discipline.
Tiwaz is invoked when:
• you face a moral test, a difficult struggle or an ethical choice
• you need to find direction, strength of mind and clarity
• we work to develop courage, coherence and a sense of higher duty
A ritual formula that resonates with its energy:
“Tiwaz guides me,
with the strength of the righteous.
I act according to truth,
and nothing can break my center.”
Tiwaz is the rune of the defenders of truth, of those who protect value even at the cost of self, of those who seek victory not at all costs, but rather that which makes one worthy. It is the rune of sacrifice that ennobles, not through servility, but through conscience.
