The associated stone is aquamarine, a crystal of deep waters, emotional communication, and energetic cleansing. Aquamarine calms the mind, opens the heart, helps communicate clearly even what is difficult to express, and strengthens the connection with the dream world and authentic emotions. With Laguz, it becomes an ally of those who wish to flow without losing themselves.

To activate Laguz, draw the rune in blue ink on paper, with wet fingers, or even trace it in water. Light a blue or white candle in a calm environment, perhaps with natural sounds. Hold the aquamarine at throat or heart level. The ritual sound is pronounced softly, like a swaying lullaby:

“Laaaa-guuuz…”

like a wave that rises and falls, like a breath that lulls.
