Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate with the chemical formula MnCO₃. It crystallizes in the trigonal crystal system, has a hardness of 3.5–4 on the Mohs scale, and a vitreous or pearly luster. It typically occurs in shades ranging from deep pink to raspberry red, often with white bands. It is the stone of unconditional love, emotional healing, and self-acceptance.
