Composed of silicon dioxide (SiO₂), it occurs in hexagonal, often transparent crystals with a hardness of 7 on the Mohs scale. Its hue ranges from light lilac to deep purple, sometimes with reddish undertones. It is a stone of great vibrational stability, whose energy acts on the mental and spiritual planes with gentleness and firmness, bringing clarity, purification, and openness.
